What is a flogger
A flogger is any item that has a handle and multiple tails. They are made out of a wide variety of materials: rubber, leather, rope, pvc, computer cable cords & all kinds of other materials creative kinksters come up with!
What does the flogger feel like?
+ It depends on what kind of material the flogger is made of, different styles induce different kinds of sensations. Other factors are: how many tails are in the flogger, how the ends of the tails are cut (rounded, angled, straight across, pointed) and the way the flogger is ‘thrown’.
+ The foundation feeling is a thud, but using the ends of the tails in a more whip like fashion can produce a wonderful sting to go along with it. The way the flogger is “thrown” majorly affects the way the bottom feels it.
+ Any impact play is going to cause some pain, but floggers can go from a gentle massage feeling to more intensity. The bottom should focus on breathing in order to manage the sensations. Breathing OUT when the impact hits can help release the pain.
+ For tops: consider handles – handle size vs. hand size, if a braided and rougher handle will drag or pinch on rings the top is wearing, handles with swivels or balls at the ends.
