As the semester rolls to a stop at Kink Academy, its humbling and amusing all at once to read previous writings and see some personal growth.

Being a student blogger for Kink Academy was a welcome surprise to Georgia and I. We had just discovered the amazing properties of rope bondage, and we were eager to learn more. As we discovered, there was more to kink than just rope. An entire continent of information was now at our disposal via the Kink Academy.

When first interacting with the Kink Academy site we were slightly intimidated. So many topics were available, some were familiar, others were not. We started with what we knew which was magnificent rope work by Professor Oni, then viewed some videos by Jay Wiseman, which consisted of very informative anatomy lessons from the bdsm sage.

We continued the semester sticking our toes in the water slightly, before slowly sliding in completely, immersing ourselves in the curriculum.

The areas that stand out in particular were the flogging and caning videos. Not having had much opportunity to learn much about the techniques, we devoured the flogging and caning videos. Being aware of the areas of the body to avoid, or to focus on  helped us create a more sensuous, safer scene with our toys from Maui Kink.

The Kink Academy is an amazing educational resource for any person or couple who is wanting to learn about the various aspects of kink, but dont have the means, or may not have access to a local group. There is a lot of good material for getting started learning about alternative sex positive behavior. Looking forward, I wish Princess Kali much success on generating content for more advanced areas of kink. She and her team have done a tremendous amount of work to get where they are now, and their educator list is growing everyday.
